Dr. Melinda Dollins

Dr. Melinda Swicord Dollins was born and raised in Shelby County, Alabama, and graduated from Oak Mountain High School. She began her undergraduate studies at Auburn University before earning her degree in biomedical sciences from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

While completing her studies, Dr. Dollins worked for several years as a dental assistant at her father’s dental practice in Birmingham. Through that experience, she developed a passion for dentistry and the relationships built through patient care. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the UAB School of Dentistry.

Dr. Dollins is committed to providing high-quality dental care while helping patients feel informed and comfortable throughout their treatment. She is known for her gentle chairside manner, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence.

Outside the office, Dr. Dollins enjoys hiking with her husband and their two Siberian Huskies. She also loves trying new restaurants with friends and recently took up birdwatching after noticing the many birds visible from the windows of the Inverness office.
